The actor Sanjay Dutt has a huge fan following. He gives us super hit movies in Bollywood is also a great example of survival from cancer. He was diagnosed with cancer last year in 2020, during the lockdown. After chemotherapy, the Munna Bhai emerged as a survivor in October 2020 in the USA.

Manisha Koirala- Ovarian Cancer

Anurag Basu- Blood Cancer

The famous director of Bollywood who has given us some of the best movies like Life in a Metro, Gangster, and Barfi is non-other than Mr, Amurag Basu.
But he was also diagnosed with acute promyelocytic Leukemiain 2004.

Which is a type of blood cancer. Although his Doctors gave him a verdict period of two months. But all this did not shake Basu’s spirit. We fight like a fighter and win the battle like a superhero and made the recovery. Anurag Basu fought a long battle with full of confidence and energy with cancer.

Lisa Ray-Blood Cancer

In 2009, Lisa Ray, Indian-born actress was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Myeloma is also another type of blood cancer. When she knew about her condition, she kept herself away from the media.

Lisa ray fought with her cancer for over a year and coming out of it victorious. Ray made a public announcement in 2010, by saying that she had a full stem cell replacement. Now she was cancer-free and living her life normally.

Mumtaz- Breast Cancer

Mumtaz is a very famous evergreen Bollywood name. Mumtaz yesteryear Bollywood Diva won many hearts with her charismatic beauty and magical performances in movies such as “chor machaye Shor”, “Do Raaste”, “Aadmi Aur Insaan”, “Aag”, “Khilona”, and so on.

But only a few people from the Bollywood industry know that Mumtaz, as a breast cancer survivor. Mumtaz veteran actress was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 54. The legendary Bollywood queen coming out from the battlefield of dreadful disease with her determination and family support.

In a tabloid interview, she was talking about her fight against cancer and said: "I don't give up easily. Even death will have to fight me.” She was also featured in a documentary film based on cancer survival called ‘1 Minute’.

Kamaal Rashid Khan - Stomach Cancer

Kamaal Rashid Khan, KRK, has suffered from first stage stomach cancer. He releases the news from his Twitter account. He was diagnosed with 1st Stage Cancer, now he is living his normal life.

Yuvraj Singh
